Overview

SIRIM certification is Malaysia's voluntary product certification, but in many cases, mandatory certification is required under government management requirements. SIRIM is Malaysia's only agency that guides certification. Any factory or company can apply to SIRIM and perform audits and approvals according to recognized standards under the product certification system.
